A research based, developmentally appropriate curriculum and assessment system work together to strengthen classroom practice and promote positive outcomes for all young learners. This training will review state requirements for Student Learning Objectives and examine the purpose and intent of various assessment tools for preschool aged children. Examine the new Early Childhood Attributes created specifically for the Danielson's Teacher Evaluation tool to assist administrators with evaluating Early Childhood Special Education and Blended Preschool Teachers. Participants will connect authentic assessment practices and formative assessment to appropriately monitor preschool student's growth. This information will assist administrators to formulate developmentally appropriate Student Learning Objectives.
