EARLY CHILDHOOD RESEARCH & PRACTICE

Early Childhood Research & Practice,  a twice annually free published Internet-only journal, features articles related to the development, care, and education of children from birth to age 8. The scope of articles emphasizes practice-related research and development; issues related to practice, parent participation and policy, and emerging practices and issues.   It may also contain letters to the editor and reflections and opinions on related topics to the scope of the journal.   Submissions are accepted. Articles  should not be previously published. Audiences are researchers, teacher educators, program planners, policy and decision makers, administrators, practitioners, and parents. The focus is on applied research, or research with practical implications; each issue typically contains at least one article by an early childhood practitioner.  The Early Childhood Research & Practice website also contains volumes which you can browse by title, Author or Project.
