Supporting Our Youngest Learners Experiencing Homelessness

This presentation will provide an overview of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Act and how it relates to early childhood programs. Attendees will learn about identification strategies, the importance enrollment and school stability. We will also provide information on youth in care provisions and newcomers to Illinois.
