Administrator Forum IV- Strengthening Early Literacy Success with the Illinois Comprehensive Literacy Plan

This forum will guide early childhood administrators through the Illinois Comprehensive Literacy Plan (ICLP). Participants will explore the core components of evidence-based literacy instruction outlined in the plan and examine its alignment with the Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards. The session will also provide an overview of equitable tools and strategies for creating literacy-rich environments that support all learners, including multilingual learners and students with disabilities. Participants will examine how the ICLP connects language and literacy development in early childhood settings to support students’ successful transition to kindergarten.
