Humor as a Protective Factor: A Way to Use Joy as a Tool for Self-Reflection

In recent years we’ve prioritized self-care as a way to cope with a reality that changed all too quickly and has had a lasting impact on those in the caring professions. But what else can we do to take care of ourselves besides meditating and deep breathing and how can humor reflect who we are and where we’ve come from? In this session we’ll discover the many benefits of being joyful, laughing heartily, and paying attention to what brings us joy and makes us laugh. Participants will have opportunities to think about ways to infuse more joy into our daily lives in intentional ways.
