Nature and Young Children – It’s more essential than you think!

This is a webinar for those of you who want to help children connect with nature for their physical, emotional, and intellectual well-being. The webinar will provide many ideas for engaging children with nature whether your outdoor space is a park, a parking lot, or something in between. I’ll also share ways to bring the outside into your classroom. You’ll learn about the consequences of children’s disconnection with nature and what to do about it. We will look at strategies that align with the IELDS in science and other areas, the impact of nature on children’s behavior (and your own!), new research on the critical role of outdoor play in healthy development, and much more. You’ll leave with a wealth of ideas you can implement no matter where you are.
